Planning your Wedding

Quackenbush's Long View Wilderness Lodge

Please note that the completion of this form only stands as a request for the date, time and services requested on the form. Once we have received and reviewed the form we will contact you to confirm date, time and finalize the details.

(If Yes, we can provide a list of our standard hors d’oeuvres for your review.)

4. How do you want to handle the Cocktail Hour? Select one of the following options:
Cash Bar (your guests pay for their own)
Open Bar (you pay) From to p.m.
Modified Open Bar (you pay for beer, wine and soda and your guests pay for mixed drinks) 

Note: We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest at any time.

Once this decision is made, we can provide you with menu selections and prices.

6. Champagne Toast?    Yes No

If yes, any particular kind? 

    If we do not have your choice on our wine list, we can get it for you from our authorized distributors and then mark it up accordingly.

    We would suggest pouring the champagne immediately after the salad is served, as your guests are first seated There is a fee of $1.00 per guest in addition to the per bottle charge off of our wine list for this service. Should you desire to bring your own wine selection there is a $8.00 per bottle corking fee for any wines in addition to the service charge.

7. Carafe or Bottle of Wine on Each Table?    Yes No

    We have house wines that can be used for this purpose. Should you desire to bring your own wine selection there is a $8.00 per bottle corking fee in addition to a $1.00 per guest service fee.

8. Linens

    We will make arrangements to rent the linens and pass the cost through to you on your bill.

    If it is necessary for us to rent any other equipment to accommodate your wedding, we will pass on the cost to you .

9. Cake

will make and deliver to Quackenbush's Long View Wilderness Lodge at a.m./p.m.

    We can suggest a local baker for you to speak with directly. The charge for serving the cake is $1.00 per guest.

10. Music Arrangements and Photographer: (Your responsibility) However, we can suggest some names other wedding parties have used in the past.

    Please coordinate with us as to when the musician and photographer will arrive.
(When you are making your plans, consider whether these people will need a room for the night and who will pay for it. Also, if this person (or people) will be having dinner, figure that into your head count.

11. Flowers: Your responsibility--again, we can suggest local alternatives.
