Quackenbush's Long View Wilderness Lodge is a historic country inn located on the eastern shore of Long Lake. It is approximately 2 miles south of the village of Long Lake. Our year round inn is AAA approved and described in the, "Adirondack Book A Complete Guide" by Elizabeth Folwell. 

The lodge has 17 rental rooms comprised of 9 private rooms with private bath and 4 two bedroom units each of which is served by its own bath. All rooms have satellite TV and in room telephone service. The bedrooms, which are all non-smoking, are located on the second floor of the lodge. They are decorated in a quilted look with hardwood floors. 

The first floor of the lodge is dedicated to a large great room, dining room and a knotty pine lounge which projects out toward the lake. The Great Room has been fully equipped with a wide screen TV, shuffle board table, pool table and library. Sports Fans, come and watch your favorite team play or driver race while enjoying a cold drink and some great food from Quack’s Pub. Bring your friends and enjoy an afternoon or evening together rooting for your favorite team or driver. Guests can also spend some quiet time reading on the covered verandah which encircles the great room. There is something for everyone!

We also have two one bedroom cottages which are located right by the lake. They do not offer cooking facilities but do have a microwave, coffee maker and small office size refrigerator. The cottages are suitable for two people and offer a romantic getaway location with the screened porch affording a gorgeous view of the lake. Cabins are open from Memorial Day to Columbus Day only.

A fine dining menu is available seven days a week in the summer. After Labor Day the dining availability changes. Call for information or reservations. Continental breakfast and complimentary coffee is offered year round. A full breakfast menu is offered during July and August, seven days a week, and on the weekends during the off season. Pub menu is offered for lunches and is also available in the off season along with the dinner menu.
